NDRRMC reports 727 families affected by ‘Henry’

MANILA – The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Wednesday reported that a total of 727 families or 2,442 persons have been affected by Typhoon Henry.

According to the most recent situation report of the agency, these families are residing in 56 barangays (villages) in the Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, and Cordillera regions.

Only one evacuation center remains operational, accommodating five families or approximately 16 people. The remainder have either returned home or are staying with family or friends.

Reports of one death in the Ilocos region are still being validated. No injuries or missing persons have been reported.

In the Cordillera, the weather disturbance caused PHP61.37 million in infrastructure damage. In the region, 12 houses suffered partial damage.
