PRC: 1,768 out of 3,472 pass November 2022 Midwife Licensure Exam

MANILA – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that only 1,768 individuals out of 3,472 examinees have passed the November 2022 Midwife Licensure Examination.

The Board of Midwifery administered the exam in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Cavite State University stood out as the top-performing institution with a passing rate of 100 percent. The rest of top-performing schools include University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences – Leyte (97.06 percent), Sultan Kudarat State University – Tacurong (94.59 percent), Davao Medical School Foundation (92.59 percent), University of Northern Philippines – Vigan (90.32 percent), Cordillera Career Development College (90 percent), Mary Chiles College (86.67 percent), Occidental Mindoro State College (84.71 percent), Tagoloan Community College (83.87 percent), and North Luzon Philippines State College – Candon (82.76 percent).

Meanwhile, Jonathan Calunsag Gatela Jr. of University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences – Leyte got the highest place in the said exam with a rating of 90.10 percent.
