SWS: 34% Filipinos believe life has gotten better

MANILA — There are 34 percent of Filipinos who believe that their lifestyle improved last December 2022 even though the price of goods was high during that time.

In the Social Weather Station (SWS) survey, 26 percent said their lives have worsened while 39% have remained the same.

The results of the survey were recorded even though the inflation rate hit 8.1 percent in December or the rapid increase in commodity prices and recorded 51 percent of Filipinos said they were poor.

The survey was conducted on December 10-14, 2022 among 1,200 adults in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
